Mr. Robinson joined Anderson, McPharlin & Conners in 1984 and is now a Managing Partner.  His practice focuses on representation of title insurers, real estate owners, lien holders, credit unions and professionals in litigation of real estate related disputes, consumer credit and commercial matters, and professional liability claims.

Published appellate opinions of note include U.S. v. Ronald Cloud 872 F.2d 846 (9th Cir. 1989), in which the Ninth Circuit Panel affirmed $7.5 million in restitution for his client that was collected in full, and establishing that a criminal victim cannot waive a right of restitution by settling with a defendant; Yeung v. Soos (2004) 119 Cal.App.4th 576, in which the Appellate Court Panel affirmed a quiet title judgment on his client's behalf and established related rules of procedure; and Anderson, McPharlin & Conners LLP v. Yee (2005) 135 Cal.App.4th 129, establishing rules governing a law firm's partnership agreement.

Mr. Robinson authored "DAMAGES: How Much Are You Entitled To From Your Title Company?", a paper presented to the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Real Property section, and has been a speaker for the Surety Claim's Association.

Michael enjoys his life with wife Julie, sons Jack and Christopher, two dogs, two cats and numerous chickens.  He relaxes with tennis, home improvement and woodworking projects.
