Mr. Mizell is the managing partner of the Inland Empire office of Anderson, McPharlin & Conners LLP.

Mr. Mizell's practice focuses on suspect claims, construction litigation, coverage and employment practices liability. He has represented major contractors in claims involving all aspects of the construction process. He has also represented carriers in coverage disputes and provided carriers with advice on coverage issues.

Mr. Mizell has taken over 1,000 examinations under oath for carriers in suspect theft, accident and contents claims.  He has also testified as an expert witness in bad faith litigation regarding suspect claims handling and coverage analysis.  In addition, Mr. Mizell has presented topics to insurance companies and associations regarding investigation of suspect claims, litigation strategies, investigation of employment claims of harassment and discrimination, effective drafting of employment manuals and the effective use of examinations under oath.

He is the firm's representative for the Inland Empire Risk Insurance Management Society.
