Ms. Muse joined Anderson, McPharlin & Conners LLP after several years of successful practice in northern California.  Her practice focuses on areas of insurance coverage, business, real estate and commercial litigation.

Ms. Muse represents insurance companies in all aspects of first and third party insurance.  She provides advice to insurers on issues relating to defense and indemnity obligations, property coverage and extra-contractual claims.  Her experience includes drafting coverage opinions and defending bad faith actions.

In addition to her insurance coverage practice, Ms. Muse represents lenders and lien holders in litigation involving wrongful foreclosure, lender liability, mortgage fraud and loan repurchase liability.  She also represents property owners in quiet title actions and boundary disputes.

Ms. Muse is an active member and membership chairperson for DRI's Insurance Law Committee.  She has spoken at DRI's Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute on key issues arising under first party property insurance policies and, more recently, on ways to navigate the duty to defend.  In March 2012, Ms. Muse will chair a break-out session at DRI's Insurance Coverage and Claims Institute in Chicago entitled "First Party: Personal Lines and Property."
