After practicing several years in Texas, Mr. Catmull moved to California where he was admitted to the California Bar in 2000.

At Anderson, McPharlin & Conners, his principal focus is business litigation and appeals, including real property and title insurance matters, escrow and broker liability, banking and lender liability and bankruptcy proceedings.  He is particularly experienced in prosecuting commercial fraud, including fraudulent conveyances under the Uniform Fraudulent Transfer Act.  Mr. Catmull has both jury and bench trial experience.

In his spare time, Joe enjoys staying abreast of political news and commentary, and trying to convince Janet, his wife of some 13 years, that he is right.  Joe also enjoys traveling to Texas and Montana to visit family, diving in the California Channel Islands, hiking local hills and mountains, and replaying the last few minutes of the Texas Longhorns' victory over the Trojans in the 2006 Rose Bowl.
