Mr. Robinson joined Anderson, McPharlin & Conners in 1984 and is now a Senior Partner. He earlier served as a judicial extern for the Los Angeles Superior Court where he evaluated and assisted the court in its determination of law and motion matters. His practice focuses on representation of credit unions, title insurers, real estate owners, lien holders and professionals in litigation of consumer credit and commercial matters, real estate related disputes, and professional liability claims. Published appellate opinions of note include U.S. v. Ronald Cloud 872 F.2d 846 (9th Cir.1989), in which the Ninth Circuit Panel affirmed $7.5 million in restitution for his client that was collected in full, and establishing that a criminal victim cannot waive a right of restitution by settling with a defendant; Yeung v. Soos (2004) 119 Cal.App.4th 576, in which the Appellate Court Panel affirming a quiet title judgment on his client's behalf and establishing related rules of procedure; and Anderson, McPharlin & Conners LLP v. Yee (2005) 135 Cal.App.4th129, establishing rules governing a law firm's partnership agreement. Mr. Robinson authored "DAMAGES: How Much Are You Entitled To From Your Title Company?", a paper presented to the Los Angeles County Bar Association's Real Property section, and has been a speaker for the Surety Claim's Association. Michael enjoys his life with wife Julie, sons Jack and Christopher, two dogs, one cat and numerous chickens. He relaxes with home improvement and woodworking projects.
