Ms. Widener's practice focuses on representation of title insurers, real estate owners and lien holders in litigation of real estate related disputes.  She also represents mortgage lenders in repurchase litigation.

Ms. Widener is a frequent speaker on repurchase litigation, mortgage fraud issues and probate, conservatorship and trust sales.  She has also been a panelist on practicing law in the age of electronic communication.

Vanessa, a native Californian, lives in Long Beach with husband Michael, daughter Ava, Taylor the cat, and Hank the bird.  Vanessa enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially tailgating before USC football games!  She completed the Long Beach Half Marathon in 2004 and hopes to run the full 26.2 some day.
