Aria Guilani is a litigation attorney who has diverse and extensive experience representing clients in various real estate, commercial, business, land use, constitutional, and municipal litigation matters. Mr. Guilani approaches each matter with an appreciation for his client’s interests while focusing on fully understanding the core legal issues of each matter to ensure that his clients can reach a beneficial solution in an efficient manner. Mr. Guilani’s practice currently focuses on a variety of real estate and business disputes.

Prior to joining AMC, Mr. Guilani represented various private clients and municipal governmental entities in a variety of commercial, land use, criminal, and real estate disputes. Mr. Guilani received his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley.

In his free time, Mr. Guilani enjoys trying new restaurants throughout Southern California, spending time with his loved ones, writing, and building Legos.

  • Successfully opposed a motion for a preliminary injunction seeking to enjoin AMC’s client from the redevelopment and revitalization of its private property based on terminated Declaration of Restrictions.
  • Successfully demurred to a cross-complaint alleging that a municipal code’s conditional use permit scheme violated the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act and United States Constitution.
  • Successfully demurred to multiple cross-complaints involving allegations of copyright infringement, unjust enrichment, and intentional interference with prospective business advantage in connection with signage residing on a renowned hotel in West Hollywood, California.
  • Successfully obtained multiple preliminary injunctions, often concerning discrete and complex issues, to enjoin violations of various municipal codes.
  • Successfully argued multiple matters before the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of the State of California.
  • Successfully obtained an arbitrator’s award in AMC’s client’s favor as well as full recovery of arbitrator’s and attorney’s fees in connection with a Claimant’s claims involving a financial transaction between him and AMC’s client.
  • Obtained a judgment of dismissal for AMC’s client by successfully demurring to a complaint alleging violations of the Uniform Voidable Transfers Act.
